焦菊英，女，1965年7月生于陕西宝鸡，研究员，博士。1988年7月毕业于西北农业大学土壤农化系，分配到水土保持研究所工作至今。2000年7月获西北农林科技大学农业工程专业博士学位；2002年7月至11月在日本鸟取大学进修“干旱半干旱地区水资源开发与环境评价”；2004年在英国帝国理工学院开展景观生态与恢复方面的合作研究；2003年12月被聘为研究员；于2002年和2007年分别被聘为硕士、博士研究生导师。

流域侵蚀产沙、土壤侵蚀与植被关系、种子生态等。 

　　2002年获陕西省科学技术一等奖(第四名)；1998年获中国科学院科技进步二等奖(第七名)。 

　　2010年获中国科学院王宽诚西部学者突出贡献奖；2009年获中国科学院西安分院“先进工作者”荣誉称号；2002年获中国科学院西安分院“优秀青年”荣誉称号。 

　　2009年获陕西省优秀留学回国人员称号；2002年获陕西省优秀博士学位论文。 

　　2011年被评为西北农林科技大学优秀教师；2009年获西北农林科技大学“巾帼建功”先进个人。
